Cincinnati, OH – Candice Christon Fatally Struck on Reading Rd

Cincinnati, OH (September 29, 2020) – A woman reportedly suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle in Cincinnati on Saturday morning, September 26. 

According to reports from local officials, 33-year-old Candice Christon was attempting to cross in the 3385 block of Reading Road in the Avondale area just past midnight on Saturday. Christon was then hit by a southbound vehicle on the driver. The driver failed to remain at the scene. 

Christon was then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for the treatment of critical injuries. She was later pronounced dead while receiving treatment. At this time, no information on the involved driver or vehicle has been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
