Cincinnati, OH – Lisa Landrum Killed in Semi-Truck Crash on I-75
Cincinnati, OH (July 27, 2020) – A woman was killed following a deadly crash in Cincinnati. The accident reportedly occurred on Friday afternoon, July 24. A passenger car and a semi-truck reportedly collided at around 1 p.m. Emergency responders and local law enforcement officials were called to the site of the crash on the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile marker 1.9.
Local authorities revealed that 50-year-old Lisa Landrum suffered fatal injuries in the crash. According to local reports, Landrum was the passenger in a vehicle driven by 27-year-old David Cooper Jr. at the time of the accident. Initial sources revealed that Cooper failed to maintain stopping distance and rear-ended a tractor-trailer ahead of him. Landrum was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Neither Cooper nor the truck driver was injured in the accident. All three parties were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Authorities reported that neither impairment nor excessive speed was involved in the crash.
No further updates are available at this time. An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
