Middletown, OH – One Killed in Deadly Bicycle Accident on Breiel Blvd
Middletown, OH (September 17, 2020) – There was a fatal bicycle accident reported in the Middletown area on Monday afternoon, September 14, according to reports from the Hamilton Highway Patrol.
Local authorities were called to the site of the accident near the intersection of N. Breiel Boulevard and Miller Road at around 4:35 p.m. Initial reports revealed that 39-year-old Brandon W. Wagner of Middletown was traveling south on Breiel Boulevard in a 2012 GMC Sierra at the time of the accident. For unknown reasons, a young cyclist and the Sierra entered the intersection at the same time.
The Sierra collided with the bicycle. The rider was transported to Atrium Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
No further information on the crash is available at this time. An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
