Sprigg, OH – Chelsea Miller Killed in Motorcycle Crash on US-52
Sprigg, OH (August 11, 2020) – According to reports from the Ohio State Police, one woman was killed following a motorcycle accident outside of Sprigg Township early on Sunday morning, August 9. The crash reportedly occurred near the intersection of US-52 and Owl Hollow Road at around 1:45 a.m.
Initial reports revealed that the woman was traveling as a passenger on a motorcycle heading westbound on US-52 at the time of the accident. The operator of the bike lost control of the vehicle and drove into a nearby ditch. The female passenger, identified as 24-year-old Chelsea Miller, was killed in the accident. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported by UC Aircare to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash is still unknown. The identity of the operator is still unknown, and no updates on their condition have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more details will be released as it continues.
