Washington, OH – Dakota Hulbert Killed in Collision at OH-756 & OH-743Ohio & Indiana Legal News
Washington, OH (October 1, 2020) – A 27-year-old man from Batavia, Ohio was killed after being involved in a deadly collision in Clermont County on Tuesday, September 29.
The collision reportedly occurred near the intersection of OH-756 and OH-743 near Washington Township just before 8 p.m. that evening. Initial reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol revealed that Dakota J. Hulber was killed in the collision.
According to local sources, a 2006 GMC Sierra was traveling southwest on Route 743 while a 2014 Dodge Charger was traveling southwest on Route 756. For unknown reasons, the GMC entered into the intersection, striking the Dodge. The driver of the Dodge sustained serious injuries and was taken to a landing zone for Air Care.
Hulbert was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. A passenger in Hulbert’s vehicle, Robert E. Brewer, also sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. The driver of the GMC, 32-year-old Bryan D. Brock of Moscow, Ohio, was uninjured in the crash and declined medical aid.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
