Columbus, OH – Justin Fisher Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Broad St

Columbus, OH (August 18, 2020) – A man was killed following a collision in Columbus involving a motorcycle and a passenger car on Sunday night, August 16. The fatal motorcycle accident occurred near the intersection of W. Broad Street and Dana Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. 

According to reports from the Columbus Police Department, 40-year-old Justin Fisher from the West Side was traveling east on W. Broad Street on a 1996 Honda motorcycle at the time of the accident in the Franklinton area. At the same time, initial reports revealed that 28-year-old Conrad Iles from the Northeast Side was traveling west on W. Broad Street in a 2005 Nissan Murano. 

Iles reportedly attempted to make a left turn onto Dana Avenue, resulting in a collision with Fisher’s motorcycle. Fisher was ejected from the bike and landed on the far-left lanes of W. Broad Street. He was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in critical condition. 

Fisher was pronounced dead later that night at around 11:20 p.m. No other injuries were reported. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
