Akron, OH – Woman Killed in Accident East Ave & Nordica Ave
Akron, OH (July 9, 2020) – A 35-year-old woman lost her life in a two-car collision in Akron on Wednesday morning, July 8. The crash occurred at the corner of East Avenue and Nordica Avenue at around 1:10 a.m. Initial reports revealed that a 28-year-old male driving a 2013 Dodge Durango south on East Avenue when he collided with 2008 Jeep Compass.
The Durango reportedly veered across the centerline and collided head-on with the Jeep. Both the driver of the Durango and the 33-year-old male passenger of Jeep suffered injuries in the crash. The driver of the Jeep was killed on impact.
No charges have been filed at this time. An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently in progress.
