Union, OH – Dean Williams Killed in Motorcycle Crash on OH-125
Union, OH (August 3, 2020) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in Union Township, according to reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Initial reports revealed that the crash occurred in Clermont County on Saturday, August 1. A motorcycle and a motor vehicle collided near the intersection of OH-125 and Beverly Drive at around 9:30 p.m. that evening.
Local sources revealed that 51-year-old Dean R. Williams was traveling eastbound on the highway while riding a 2000 Yamaha XVS 1100 motorcycle at the time of the crash. As Williams was riding down OH-125, he was involved in a collision with a westbound 2020 Honda Civic, driven by 21-year-old Donovan M. Mullins. Williams was transported to Anderson Mercy Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Neither Mullins nor his passenger, 26-year-old Nicholas A. Huber, sustained injuries in the crash. At this time, the cause of the collision is still unknown. Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by the OHSP. More details will be released as the investigation continues.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of Dean R. Williams at this time.
