Cincinnati, OH – Woman Killed in Apartment Fire on Hamilton Ave
Cincinnati, OH (January 29, 2021) – An apartment fire in the College Hill area on Thursday night, January 28, resulted in the death of a woman.
The fire broke out that evening at an apartment complex located at the 5800 block of Hamilton Avenue, just north of Groesbec Road. Firefighters and emergency responders were dispatched to the site of the fire at around 9 p.m. The fire was reportedly quickly found in the rear bedroom of one of the apartment units.
Many residents in the building were evacuated due to the amount of smoke in the hallway. An unidentified woman was found dead. No further information on the deadly fire is currently available.
Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
