Columbus, OH – Man Killed in Head-On Crash at Westerville Rd & Agler Rd

Columbus, OH (August 20, 2020) – A deadly crash in the Linden area of Columbus left one man dead on Wednesday evening, August 19, near the intersection of Westerville Road and Agler Road. 

Initial reports from the Columbus Police Department revealed that the accident took place at around 9:36 p.m. A 40-year-old man was traveling southbound on Westerville Road in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer at the time of the crash. The vehicle entered the northbound lanes of the roadway and collided head-on with a 2007 Toyota Camry. 

The Chevrolet proceeded to veer back into the southbound lanes of the highway and struck another vehicle. The driver of the Toyota was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital and later pronounced dead. The driver of the Chevrolet also sustained injuries and was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment. 

The driver of the third vehicle was treated at the scene by responding paramedics. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local authorities.
