Cincinnati, OH – Melissa Holder Killed in Head-On Crash on River Rd

Cincinnati, OH (August 26, 2020) – A deadly car crash in the Riverside area of Cincinnati left one woman dead on Monday morning, August 24. The fatal collision occurred at the 3600 block of River Road at around 10 a.m. 

The cause of the crash has not been disclosed at this time. According to reports from local authorities, a 2011 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on US-50 when it crossed the centerline and collided with a 1996 Ford Taurus traveling westbound on the highway. First responders and local authorities were dispatched to the site of the crash to render aid tot he injured parties at the scene. 

The driver of the Taurus, 41-year-old Mellisa Holder, sustained critical injuries in the accident. She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by the Cincinnati Fire Department. Holder later succumbed to her injuries. At this time, very few details about the collision have been reported. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by local authorities.
