Anderson, OH – Adam McMillan Critically Injured in Collision on Eight Mile Rd
Anderson, OH (October 12, 2020) – A deputy with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office suffered critical injuries after being involved in a collision in Anderson Township on Thursday, October 8.
An update on Saturday, October 10, revealed that 42-year-old Adam McMillan was unconscious at the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. According to local reports, McMillan was driving a marked police vehicle when he collided with a Metro bus. The accident occurred near the intersection of Eight Mile Road and Beechmont Avenue.
This accident caused a chain-reaction collision, leading to the bus to crash into a 2007 Toyota RAV4. The Toyota then hit two other vehicles, a 2013 Ford Focus and a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu. McMillan was extricated from his vehicle and taken to the UCMC trauma unit for treatment.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
