Brimfield, OH – Richard Tenan Killed in Collision on Sandy Lake RdOhio & Indiana Legal News
Brimfield, OH (November 4, 2020) – A Kent man was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Brimfield on Monday, November 2.
The accident reportedly occurred at around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Sandy Lake Road and Tallmadge Road. Local authorities reported that a 2017 Hyundai Tucson driven by a teen driver was traveling south on Sandy Lake Road when it ran a stop sign. The vehicle collided with a 2008 Smart Car Driven by Richard Tenan of Kent, Ohio.
Tenan was ejected from his vehicle in the collision. Richard and his passenger, Pamela Tenan, suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to Akron City Hospital where Richard Tenan was later pronounced dead. All three juveniles traveling in the Hyundai sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
