Dayton, OH – Five Hospitalized in Fiery Accident on Shoup Mill Rd
Dayton, OH (September 30, 2020) – A single-vehicle in an accident in Dayton on Sunday night, September 27, resulted in five people being hospitalized.
The collision took place near the Stillwater River at the 1000 block of Shoup Mill Road. Local dispatch records showed that a woman reportedly crashed a vehicle at around 9 p.m. Local sources revealed that the vehicle was speeding when it lost control. The vehicle veered right, hitting a guardrail before crashing into a ditch.
The driver and three other passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and Grandview Medical Center. A fourth passenger was also injured and transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital. At this time, the identities of the injured parties have not been disclosed.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently in progress.
