Highland, OH – Steven Corwin Injured in Crash at Mansfield & Kinner Rd

Highland, OH (September 9, 2020) – Three people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Highland Township area on Monday morning, September 8. The accident occurred near the intersection of Mansfield Road and Kinner Road at around 10:35 a.m. 

Reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol revealed that 61-year-old Larry D. Donaldson from Continental, Ohio was traveling south on Kinner when he failed to yield at the intersection and was hit by a pickup truck. The pickup was driven by 56-year-old Steven B. Corwin from Defiance, Ohio. 

Both vehicles left the roadway and came to a stop in a ditch. Donaldson was taken to Defiance Hospital and then flown to Mercy St. Vincent’s Hospital in serious condition. Corwin was treated by paramedics at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle, 45-year-old Shelle L. Corwin of Defiance, was transported to Defiance Hospital for treatment. 

No further updates on the collision are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
