Meigs Co, OH – Larry Jividen Killed in Head-On Crash on OH-7Ohio & Indiana Legal News
Meigs Co, OH (December 3, 2020) – A West Virginia man was killed after a deadly crash in Meigs County on Monday, November 30.
Reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol revealed that the accident occurred on OH-7 near mile marker 17 at around 7:08 a.m. that morning. According to local sources, a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling southwest on the highway at the time of the crash. At the same time, a Ford F-150 pickup was traveling northeast.
For unknown reasons, the Ford crossed the centerline and collided with the Dodge. The Ram left the roadway and struck a mailbox and nearby embankment. According to local reports, 78-year-old Larry Jividen of West Columbia, West Virginia suffered fatal injuries in the crash. A passenger in the Ford was hospitalized for the treatment of sustained injuries.
The driver of the Ram was uninjured. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
