Trucking Accidents in Ohio

Dayton, OH - Head-On Crash with Semi-Truck on OH-4 Ends in InjuriesTrucks are an essential part of the American transportation system, and there are millions of trucks out of the roads nationwide each year. When passenger vehicles are involved in collisions with large commercial trucks, there is a significant risk of life-changing injuries. On average, more than 5,000 people are killed in collisions involving trucks across the United States. The overwhelming majority of deadly trucking accidents involve the occupants of passenger cars.

Large semi-trucks can cause catastrophic injuries in the event of a collision with a passenger vehicle. Truck-driver inexperience is a leading cause of deadly commercial vehicle accidents as companies are trying to fill positions due to a shortage of drivers, and this negligence contributes to serious crashes involving 18-wheelers and commercial vehicles. When the negligence of another driver results in a crash, injured victims should consult with an Ohio trucking injury lawyer in order to recover lost compensation by pursuing an Ohio personal injury claim.
