Rollover Crashes in Cincinnati
Driving can be incredibly dangerous, and car crashes are the leading cause of death and serious injury nationwide. Rollovers are particularly risky due to their increased fatality rate in comparison to other types of accidents. Out of the nearly 9.1 million reported crashes in 2010 involving passenger cars, pickup trucks, and vans, only 2.1% involved rollover accidents. However, rollover collisions were involved in nearly 35% of reported passenger-vehicle fatalities that year. Around 69% of rollover fatalities that year were unrestrained at the time of the collision, increasing the risk of being ejected from the vehicle and suffering life-threatening injuries.
In most cases, the negligence of one or more parties is responsible for serious car crashes across the state of Ohio, and these collisions can leave victims with severe or life-threatening injuries. What you do in the moments immediately following a crash can greatly impact any potential Ohio personal injury claim, determining your ability to obtain a reasonable settlement.
