Fayette, OH – Erik Makula & Jessica Wilson Injured in Deadly Crash on Co Rd 26

Fayette, OH (July 3, 2020) – A four-year-old child was killed and two adults were injured in a car accident in Fayette on Thursday morning, July 2. The accident occurred near the intersection of County Road 26 and Gamble Road at around 3:48 a.m. The child’s father, Erik Makula, 28, was driving a Pontiac G6 down County Road 26 when the vehicle left the roadway. 

At the time of the accident, Makula’s child and another passenger, Jessica Wilson, 18, were also inside the vehicle. The child was ejected from the vehicle. All three parties were airlifted to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. 

The child was later pronounced dead at the hospital. An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
