Cincinnati, OH (December 2, 2020) – A deadly collision on the Eastside of Cincinnati on Monday, November 30, resulted in the death of an Avondale woman. 

Local reports revealed that the fatal crash occurred on Columbia Parkway at around 4 p.m. that afternoon. According to reports from the Cincinnati Police Department, 28-year-old Julie McGuffin of North Avondale was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus eastbound on the roadway at the time of the crash. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a 2018 Ford E-350 shuttle bus driven by 63-year-old Carl Galloway.

McGuffin was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead. No further injuries were reported. 

An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is currently underway.
