Cincinnati, OH – David Hurst Killed in Pileup Crash on I-275
Cincinnati, OH (December 15, 2020) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in the Cincinnati area on Thursday, December 10.
According to local reports, the deadly crash occurred on Interstate 275 EB on the Combs Hehl Bridge. Local sources revealed that 75-year-old David Hurst was driving a 2010 Ford Escape eastbound on the highway when he rear-ended a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by a 68-year-old man. The Camry then struck a 2010 Kia Soul and a 2007 Toyota Corolla.
Hurst’s vehicle then hit a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 44-year-old man before coming to stop in the middle of the roadway. Hurst was transported to Mercy Health-Anderson where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Camry and his passenger was taken to The Jewish Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries.
No other injuries were reported. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
