Pedestrian Accidents in Western Hills

Cincinnati, OH - Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Ferguson RdAll drivers owe a duty to roadway travels to avoid serious accidents and injuries, and pedestrians are some of the most vulnerable. There is little protecting a pedestrian from the full impact of a serious car accident. Statistics show that pedestrians are nearly 1.5 times more likely to suffer fatal injuries in the event of a vehicle collision. There were 5,977 pedestrian fatalities reported across the country in 2017 alone, an average of one death every 88 minutes.

Pedestrians are at a serious disadvantage when involved in a crash with a motor vehicle and are more likely to suffer from life-threatening injuries. Unlike those traveling in passenger cars, pedestrians have little protection from the full impact of an accident, and the resulting injuries can be life-changing. Drivers are required to yield the right of way and share the road with pedestrians. An Ohio pedestrian injury lawyer can help recover financial compensation for your injuries after being hit by a negligent driver.

Few people expect to be seriously injured in an Ohio pedestrian accident, but thousands of pedestrians are injured across the state each year and require help to pursue legal compensation for their damages.
